Poland- Tatra Mountains

A nature view of Tatra Mountains in Poland. This postcard is from Evelina, a 21 yrs old lady who live in small town in southeastern Poland. This is her first time to send a postcard in my country.

This one is from Annukka of Finland. It has a very nice stamp of F1 champion Kimi Raikkonen. Her favorite car is Jaguar. She also like gardening and nature. For her music is very important and she can also play the piano but many times the nature voices brings her the highest and happy feelings.

A card from Zasa " Sara" of Switzerland. Sara is a small Swiss women of vision, not really famous, mother of a lot terrific ideas, need water, coffee, cigarettes and has a fearless curiosity too and usually she's as happy as a sand-boy.

This is a nice yellow fields of flowers. A postcard from Nadine aka " Trisa" of Germany. As she sent this card she was at a ship together with a fellow postcrosser as they had a meeting and going to see the coal mine in Bellverein a UNESCO site.

This is the Scenic Wonderland of the Great Mountain Railway. This is from Allen in Taiwan. It has very nice stamps with flowers.

USA-1219214

A masterworks plan of Florida Southern College, Lakeland, Florida, begun 1938. It's the aerial perspective. Pencil and color pencil on tracing paper 24 1/4 x 48 in. This is sketch by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This card is from Tina.

USA- Buick 25 Touring Car 1913

A very large postcard enclosed in an envelope from US was sent to me by Purple Sage. It is a Buick 25 Touring Car-1913. I like it so much. The envelope appeared to be very artistic as it has many cut outs of different pictures, funny, flowers, butterflies, cat etc. I wanna thank the sender for creativity and thoughtfulness. It isn't a swap card but I will send also a postcard for sender as compliment of generosity.

Indonesia-Jakarta ID-12529

Sekar means flower in Javanese language. This postcard is from Sekar of Jakarta, Indonesia. A view of the Maribaya waterfall in Lembang, tourist attraction at the hills nearby Bandung, West Java.

Netherlands- NL 681694

A unique postcard from Marco in Netherlands. In this card is the sport called "Ring Ryden", bareback on a horse with a spear and take as many rings as you can in 30 beats played during summer season.

USA- Construction of Hwy. 1, 1926

The Big Sur Historical Society. A view of the old highway 1 construction during 1926. Kyle Brown, the first highway foreman, inspect work on Highway 1 Construction began in 1920, and the official opening was in 1937.
This postcard is from Jeanne from Port Orchard, USA. A momento of her trip from California as she and her husband drove on this highway but all the way it is now paved. She said in August this year there is an antique car show in her town.

USA- Meyer Automobile

One of the unique postcard that I have today from USA. It's from Purple Sage. A vintage automobile. Horseless carriage "The Pioneer" was invented by John Albert Meyer of San Francisco, the first automobile made in California 1896.

Macau

A view of Galaxy Macau at night located at Avenida De Cotai, Cotai City, Macau. This is my first postcard from Macau with nice post stamp too and it is from Niilo when he was there.

Another postcard from Netherlands or Holland. This is from Nina who settled in Netherlands for 10 years now. But she is from Germany. Fyne Dag!

Canada

A picture of Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. I received this postcard from a lady in Canada. She has a 16 years old cat named Caspurr. She is also an animal lover like me.

Malaysia- Kota Kinabalu

A nice postcard from Niilo when he went to Malaysia in Kota Kinabalu. It is a beautiful Moth Orchid ( Phalaenopsis amabilis), a City Flower of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. It encapsulates the exotic appeal of the island of Borneo and reminds us the wonderful flora and fauna that can be seen here.

Michigan-Songbirds

This is another postcard that I received from Nancy in Michigan, USA. In this card are the beautiful songbirds (American Goldfinch, Red Winged Blackbird, Evening Grosbeak). These birds can only be seen during spring.

Australia- Wildlife (Whiptail wallabies, Platypus, Koala

A private swap postcard from Penny of Australia. This is my 2nd card from her. In this card are morsupials or animals which carry their babies in a pouch. The platypus is a bit different as it also lays an egg.

Wildflowers of Australia. This card is a private swap from Penny. She live in a very small rural town with lots of space and wildlife especially kangaroos.

Canada- Ottawa

The wonderful flowers again,Tulips. But this one is from Canada. Tulips are annual gift from Netherlands, a symbol of "thank you" for allowing the Dutch Royal Family refuge in Ottawa during the German occupation of the Netherlands. Alyssa is a 19yrs old student from University of Ottawa. She is taking up History.

USA- Michigan

Michigan is called the "Mitten State" because of its shape and surrounded by great lakes. This card is from Nancy of USA.

Russia

A good painting on this card from Rustem in Russia. A student from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology who is fond with classic music and also sited reading as his hobby.

Germany

From Northern Germany, it is from Grit. A unique shape of a snow that it looks like a flower but of wood.

Brazil- Sao Carlos

A night view of the catedral as historical point in Sao Carlos,Brazil. This one is from Bruna, an 18yrs old girl.

Finland- Suomi

I got this one from Finland. It's from Eeva. The midsummer white rose (Juhannusruusu - Rosa pimpinellifolia) is very nice as symbol of purity.

Belgium

Another card from Raquel in Belgium. It was the first card she sent me since she thought that this is missing and lost in its way to here but then I received the 2nd card too at the same time. I am very happy to have both cards from her.

Portugal- Algarve

A view of the place where the sender is from as she spent most of her vacation in this place but then she live in Belgium since 2002. She is Raquel.
