Canada- Ottawa

The wonderful flowers again,Tulips. But this one is from Canada. Tulips are annual gift from Netherlands, a symbol of "thank you" for allowing the Dutch Royal Family refuge in Ottawa during the German occupation of the Netherlands. Netherlands - Tulips

This morning I am very happy to receive this postcard from Johnbom in Netherlands. Tulips are my favorite flowers. And Holland or Netherlands is widely known for these wonderful tulips which are growing on fields or garden of Keukenhof in the town of Lisse in the province of South Holland. Many tourists from all over the world are visiting this place to see the beautiful sight of different bright colors of flowers during spring season. Johnbom said that he just live close to this garden which is about 20 miles Southwest from Amsterdam. Since I like flowers very much, I must travel to Holland to see this beautiful tulips.
